Event Details

This presentation is for workers. We are all workers and we deserve to be paid for our work.  And yet, far too often, employers steal our wages.  What does that mean?  That means that our employers, intentionally or unintentionally, violate the wage and hour laws.  Sometimes we don’t even realize it is happening.  That is why this training is so important, it will explain our rights under the wage and hour laws.  It will define wage theft and educate us about how to seek redress when our workplace rights have been violated.  This training will not only empower us as individual workers, it will also describe strategies we can use to help our colleagues and our communities as we combat wage theft.
