Sarah Coleman, a Crested Butte attorney, will be teaching a four-week, government and civics course at the Gunnison Library on Wednesday nights in March. The sessions begin at 7 pm.
The course will cover federalism, the roles, powers, and limitations of the branches of the government, the administrative state, procedural due process, fundamental rights, and equal protection. The goal for the course is for you to understand your government on a deeper level and to engage with your government with greater confidence.
You can attend one, or some, or all of the classes. All attendees will get a free pocket constitution.
